Bury St Edmunds Operatic and Dramatic Society is always looking for aspiring actors, singers and dancers of all ages, so why not pop along to one of our rehearsals, have a cup of coffee and a chat, and let us persuade you to take up one of the most rewarding of hobbies a person can have?
Or join our talent backstage! We are looking for Stage Crew/Managers, Front of House, Props & Costumes & Production Managers. These roles are essential and can seem quite scary if you haven't done them before, however we have members who are always willing to help you. We usually rehearse at Trinity Church, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk on a Tuesday evening. Some rehearsals take place at other venues. Our Facebook page is updated regularly so you can message us on facebook (www.facebook.com/BSEODS/) or fill in details below for further information.
ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP Membership fees are paid at the beginning of each year. You will need to become a member to audition, but we welcome everyone along to sing through the show prior to auditions.
If for any reason you have not yet paid your membership fee for the current year, please get in touch with our treasurer. Please Note: To help with the costs of staging there is a production fee of £50 per adult and £25 per full time student for each show that BSEODS put on. This fee is paid on audition day by everyone auditioning for a role. For those who do not get selected to take part the fee is refunded.
