Mel Barnes, president of B S E A O D S:
"Sex and the Village, suitable for family audiences despite its title, was packed with lively songs and loveable characters. A classic mix of hilarity and poignancy, a sort of “Vicar of Dibley meets Jam and Jerusalem”, the story is also hugely topical - with a village fighting in its own inimitable way to kill a supermarket giant’s plan to invade its peaceful space.

Our audiences loved it! Although the tunes were new to them, they were soon humming along, clapping their hands and tapping their feet. We had them laughing at the hilarious antics of the villagers and, by the same token, many were seen to wipe away the tears as young Chloe sang White Elephant stall - they were completely absorbed by the storyline and the characters which were excellently performed by all the cast.
Julie Petrucci of N O D A:
"This was a great evening; congratulations to BSEAODS and to Perfect Pitch and the writers. I have no doubt there will be many more productions of this show around the country before very long. It was a privilege and a pleasure to be among the first to see it. Congratulations to all those involved - our production team, cast, crew, FOH, Committee members (past and present) and Perfect Pitch for making this show such a success."
